Palworld TCG FAQ

Specialist card stores carry it. Alphabetically, the stores we track are BackesTCG (that's us), Blue Flag Collectables, Collectible Madness, Gameology, Gamerholic, GB Toys and Good Games. At our 30 August 2026 check, our own TD01 and TD02 trial decks are in stock here, and across the tracked stores sealed booster boxes are widely sold out with some preorder listings open. The full store-by-store table, with a check time on every cell, lives on our Palworld hub — competitors included, because we'd rather you get cards than give up. The set guides carry their own dated tables: BP02 Legends Awaken and Eternal Ascent, TD03 + TD04.

Mostly, but no longer entirely. On 17 August 2026 at 11:32am AEST we checked 25 Palworld product pages across seven Australian retailers, our own included: one page showed stock available — Collectible Madness listed a BP01 booster box in stock at $280.00, on a product page published 16 August 2026 — 22 showed sold out, and 2 were open preorder listings (Gamerholic's $160 trial-deck listings, which may be multi-deck displays). Separately, BP02 booster-box preorders opened at BackesTCG at $149.95: our allocation is paid and confirmed, boxes ship to their buyers on release on 30 October 2026, limit 2 per customer, and sold out on 23 August 2026. That is a claim about those pages at that moment — not a claim about every shelf in the country. The per-cell detail, each with its own timestamp, is in the hub table.

Honestly: there is no public restock schedule. Retailers, us included, find out when distributors confirm allocations, and shelves flip with little warning. What we can say about our own shelf: our 12 August 2026 trial-deck restock arrived and sold through. The next restock landed and was counted onto our shelf on 1 September 2026: the trial decks are in stock and shipping within 1 to 2 business days. The BP01 boxes in the same restock were counted and checked (first print, badge photo on the box page); the restock list heard first, and the boxes sold out on 3 September 2026. More BP01 is on backorder with our distributor, quantities not yet confirmed; the notify-me button on the box page emails you the moment confirmed stock reaches the site. Join the restock list on the TD01 or TD02 deck page and you'll get an email about 24 hours before new stock reaches the site, and you can order during that window.

BP02 "Legends Awaken" releases 30 October 2026 (official product page). After that, per Bushiroad's announcements of 7 August 2026: Sleeve & Card Set Vol. 1 on 16 October 2026 (moved from 2 October by the official notice of 28 August 2026), two new trial decks on 18 December 2026 (since named Eternal Ascent, TD03 and TD04: our guide), and BP03 on 29 January 2027. The dated list lives on the hub calendar.

Bushiroad's official product image for the set states 7 cards per pack and 12 packs per box, and the product page puts the set at 100 card types (RR, R, U, C) plus 61 parallel types. We confirm both counts off the physical box the day our own carton is counted, and say so here.

No. As of 17 August 2026 no Palworld elite trainer box exists. The official product lineup is trial decks (TD01 and TD02), booster packs and booster boxes (BP01 Dawn of Palpagos; BP02 Legends Awaken from 30 October 2026), the Sleeve & Card Set Vol.1 (16 October 2026, moved from 2 October), plus sleeves, playmats and storage boxes — that is the whole official products page, checked 17 August 2026. "ETB" is a Pokémon TCG format; the closest Palworld equivalent is a booster box plus a trial deck.

Deliberately so. One trial deck is a complete game for one player — deck, playmat, counters, guide — so two decks put two people in a game with nothing else needed. The rules run on five short phases you can learn in about ten minutes: our beginner guide teaches them against the official rulebook. And Bushiroad runs free demo days where a teacher hands you a deck — Sydney gets one on 5–6 September 2026 (events page).

Official contents, identical structure for TD01 (Red·Blue) and TD02 (Green·Purple): a 60-card set (50-card main deck + 10-card soul deck), a paper playmat and play guide, a life counter, a material & ingredient counter, one BP01 "Dawn of Palpagos" booster pack, and one parallel-rarity card that replaces a main-deck card. Yes, by the official spec: every TD01 and TD02 contains one parallel-rarity card that replaces one main-deck card, per the official TD01 and TD02 product pages. We opened one of each on camera on 15 August 2026 and found the parallel card in both — the video is on the TD01 and TD02 deck pages. One filming is one data point; the officially stated contents are the rule.

Same game, separate language editions. The Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME launched worldwide on 30 July 2026 in English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese, and Australia is an official launch market for the English edition. The language editions are separate products, so always check which one a listing actually shows before you buy — our own listings state the language in the title.

Bushiroad has officially confirmed a printing error on first-run BP01: the word "Palworld" is misspelled on the packs and box, with the notice adding it will be adjusted in future reprints (official BP01 page). Collector and retailer listings show the misspelling reading "Palword", top-right on box and pack. Because reprints will correct it, the error doubles as a first-print marker — the full story is in our first-print guide.

The answer changed on 4 September 2026: yes. Bushiroad's official post that day announces additional 1st Edition shipments in September, then a 2nd Edition of Dawn of Palpagos shipping late October 2026, with every 2nd Edition card marked with a Roman numeral II in the bottom right corner. Whether the September 1st Edition shipments still carry the "Palword" misspelling is not published, and we won't guess. We date this answer rather than predict; the date tells you how old our information is.

The official presence right now is demo events: Bushiroad Summer Fest ran in Melbourne on 8-9 August 2026 and reaches Sydney (Bankstown Sports Club) on 5-6 September 2026, free entry with teachers at the table. On the official calendar beyond that: shop tournaments from August 2026, a Challengers Cup season September-November 2026, and a Masters League from November 2026, announced 7 August 2026. On hot sealed releases we set small per-customer caps, stated on each product page (for the current trial deck restock: 2 of each deck per order), so a drop reaches as many collectors as possible instead of disappearing into a few carts. Anything above the cap is refunded. Need more than 2? Email hello@backestcg.com.au and tell us what you're after — bigger orders and wholesale enquiries are welcome, and if a checkout limit ever blocks something ordinary, we'll sort it by email straight away. We lift the cap once a product is settled on the shelf and easy to get — ask us any time.

We sell cards, so read this as a shopkeeper being straight with you, not as investment advice — we genuinely cannot tell you what anything will be worth. What we can verify and date: at our 8 August 2026 check, every BP01 booster box listing across the seven Australian retailers we track was sold out — six stores had listings, with listed prices ranging from $95 to $200; our own boxes weren't listed yet. The first print run also carries an officially confirmed misprint that collectors already track (first-print guide). Our honest advice: buy what you'll enjoy opening and playing, and treat any future value as a bonus.
