How many cards are in a Naruto Mythos booster box?

A booster display, often called a booster box, holds 24 packs of 10 cards: 240 cards across the packs. The publisher's Set 2 collection guide says each box also holds one Chibi card as a box topper; Chibi cards are not found in booster packs.

What is in a Naruto Mythos booster pack?

Ten cards. In Set 2 Shinobi Shiren: 1 Mission card, 4 Commons, 3 Uncommons, 1 Rare, and 1 more card that is a holographic Common or Uncommon or a rarer card (Rare ART, Special, Shinobi, POP, Secret, Secret Variant or Legendary), per the publisher's Set 2 collection guide.

How many of each serial-numbered Set 2 card exist?

Per the publisher's Set 2 collection guide: 3 Legendary Gold cards made with 22-karat gold foil, 1,500 serial-numbered copies of each; 4 POP cards, 300 copies of each; and 4 Secret Variants, 400 copies of each. Four Rare ART cards are also serial-numbered. The guide gives print numbers, not odds per pack. No box is guaranteed to hold one, and we make no claim about what any card is worth.

Will Set 2 get a 2nd Edition?

Yes, according to the publisher's official roadmap, which says Set 2 will be available in both First Edition and Second Edition. It gives no date for the Set 2 2nd Edition.

How do I tell 1st Edition from 2nd Edition?

1st Edition is a set's launch print. For Set 1, the publisher says 2nd Edition cards carry a distinct "2nd Edition" stamp, 2nd Edition display boxes and booster packs are packaged differently, and the numbered alternate Secret Rares and the Gold cards differ. How do you play the Naruto Mythos TCG?

Each player brings a deck of at least 30 cards, with no more than 2 copies of any one version of a character, plus 3 Mission cards. A game runs exactly four rounds: you send your ninja to win Missions, and whoever has the most Mission Points after the fourth round wins. Is this the Bandai Naruto card game, or Kayou?

Neither. Bandai's NARUTO CARD GAME is a separate game, announced on 18 June 2026 for a worldwide launch in 2027. Kayou Naruto cards are collectibles, not part of this game. The Naruto Mythos TCG is published by Cicaboom, an Italian company.

What is the Naruto Mythos TCG?

The Naruto Mythos TCG is a trading card game based on the Naruto series, published by Cicaboom, an Italian company. It premiered at the Spiel fair in Essen in October 2025 and launched at retail in Europe and the UK on 13 March 2026 with Set 1, "Konoha Shido". Australia was not part of that first wave: the game is reaching Australian shelves now through official local distribution. Set 1 arrives here as 2nd Edition; Set 2 "Shinobi Shiren" is the first set offered through the game's official Australian distributor in 1st Edition. Booster displays, starter decks and collector chase cards, including numbered Secret Rares and Gold cards, are the core of each set.

Calendar honesty line: Cicaboom is a young publisher and its dates and territories have shifted more than once already. Where a date is a window, no firmer date exists, and we would rather show you a gap than a guess.

1st Edition and 2nd Edition, in one paragraph

Set 1, the only completed set so far, printed twice: a 1st Edition at launch, then a stamped 2nd Edition about two months later with different packaging and different Secret and Gold chase cards. The publisher has stated Set 1's 1st Edition will not be reprinted. The publisher says Set 1's 1st Edition was only available in Europe and the UK, which is why Set 2 matters here: it is the first set offered through the game's official Australian distributor in 1st Edition. Plainly: our Set 2 "Shinobi Shiren" 1st Edition order is placed with the game's official Australian distributor, with their estimated arrival of 30 September 2026, and a small first batch opened for preorder on 21 September 2026. Distributor quantities are only final when the stock leaves the distributor, so we opened part of our order and hold the rest until that quantity is final. If fewer arrive than we have sold, orders are filled in the order they were placed and every order we cannot fill is refunded in full.
