We Opened Both Decks on Camera
Edition 01 said a trial deck is a whole game in a box. This week we proved it the slow way: seals off on camera, every card counted, both decks laid out, and the questions we kept seeing answered one by one. Twenty minutes, no rush, and every claim we make in it is linked to an official source in the video description, so you can check us.

Yes, every deck has a foil. Bushiroad's own product page says one parallel-rarity card replaces one main-deck card, and both of ours had one: a Lamball in the Red and Blue deck, a Strike from the Darkness in the Green and Purple. Fourteen possibilities per deck. Which one you get, and how often, Bushiroad does not publish.

Sixty cards, on camera. A 50-card main deck and a 10-card soul deck, counted out on camera, plus the paper mat, the counters, the tokens and one booster pack in every box. The pull of the night, out of the two booster packs, was a Chillet, and it is the card that gets properly explained in the next video.

The two trial decks will play each other, one whole game, and every rule will be explained the moment it comes up, with the rulebook section number on screen so you can check us as we go. Bushiroad's own tutorial videos teach the flow and stop before a game ends; ours will play one through. It films next, and it will be the video we hand anyone who asks how this actually plays.

Bushiroad's Summer Fest reaches Bankstown Sports Club on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September 2026, entry free, with teachers at the demo tables whose whole job is your first game. Sit down, get handed a deck, play. If you are anywhere near Sydney and curious, this is the cheapest way in there is.

Shop news: straight talk on our shelf
Both trial decks are sold out again. The first restock landed on 12 August and is all spoken for. A further restock is paid for and waiting on the distributor's allocation, and we do not have a date. When it lands, you will hear it here about a day before the listing opens on the site. That is the promise we made on camera, and this list is how we keep it.
Legends Awaken, the second booster set, still releases on 30 October 2026 and preorders for the sealed English booster box are open at $139.95, up from the $128.95 you saw in Edition 01; earlier orders keep the price they paid. (Update, 20 August 2026: the preorder price is now $149.95.) Limit two per customer, no preorder fees, cancel any time before dispatch for a full refund, and if we lower the preorder price before dispatch, everyone who ordered earlier automatically pays the lower price. (Update, 25 September 2026: this price promise applies to BP02 preorders placed on or before this date, each until it ships.)

The where-to-buy check
On 17 August we checked seven Australian stores, 25 product pages, for Palworld TCG stock. 22 pages were sold out, two were preorder only, and one store had a booster box in stock.
