The Palpagos Index: Edition #1

A dated record of what Palworld TCG actually costs in Australia. Every claim carries its own timestamp.

Published Tuesday 11 August 2026. Market checks ran Saturday 8 August 2026, roughly 2:30 to 3:35 pm AEST; each table row shows when it was checked. Where something material changed between the checks and publication, a dated update note sits beside the original claim.

No store named below pays to appear here, nothing is linked for commission, and our own listings sit in these tables under the same rules as everyone else's, including when the honest entry for us is "sold out" or "not listed".

The short read

• We checked seven Australian stores that carry Palworld TCG for an English Dawn of Palpagos (BP01) booster box you could actually buy. Buyable boxes found: zero.
• Sticker prices on those shelves: $95 to $200, all sold out, backordered, or closed preorders at the time of check.
• The cheapest English box we found that ships to Australia: an international eBay listing at about A$262 delivered.
• Overseas, the box trades busily: 30 recorded eBay sales dated 7 to 8 August, most between US$150 and US$190, roughly A$213 to A$270 before shipping.
• No reprint of BP01 has been announced as of 8 August 2026. We checked Bushiroad's official product page.

1. The Australian shelf: BP01 booster box

Prices are exactly as displayed by each store, GST inclusive, excluding shipping. Rows are alphabetical. "Product data" means we read the store's own public machine-readable product feed, the same data that powers its site, including its live availability flag; "search data" means the store's own search feed; "live page" means we loaded the page in a browser.

Every sticker on that list, from $95.00 to $200.00, belongs to a listing that was sold out, backordered, or a closed preorder when we checked. A sticker on stock you cannot buy is not a price you can pay, which is exactly why this report exists.

What we did not list: department and chain stores (Kmart, Target, BIG W, EB Games and similar) have no row because we have not verified they range Palworld TCG at all. A store earns a row when we have seen the product on its site; padding the table would only dilute it.

2. What a box actually trades for: eBay, 8 August

The honest gap first: eBay Australia hides sold prices behind a login, so this edition carries no eBay AU sold prices. We publish nothing we could not verify. What follows is what a live, logged-out browser session on ebay.com.au could see at about 3:15 pm AEST on 8 August.

• English BP01 boxes listed by Australian sellers: zero. eBay's own results header showed 0 Australian listings and 110 from international sellers.
• Cheapest English box delivered to Australia: about A$262 (A$240.55 plus A$21.23 postage, shipped from Singapore). Typical delivered prices ran A$290 to A$380.
• Live auctions with real bids at check time: A$203.06 with 14 bids, A$215.72 with 10, A$222.87 with 10, A$229.08 with 11, A$230.62 with 22, all plus international postage of roughly A$30 to A$115. Bids are commitments rather than asking prices, which is why we report them; five auctions is a snapshot, not a statistic.
• One visible sell-through counter: a single international seller's listing showed 54 sold at A$310.61 plus A$65.43 delivery. That is the strongest public signal we found that boxes genuinely clear near A$300 delivered.

Overseas sold prices, via PriceCharting (a US aggregator that tracks eBay completed sales; cited as their data, not re-verified sale by sale): 30 recorded sales of the English sealed box dated 7 to 8 August, from US$149.99 to US$299.99, most between US$150 and US$190. PriceCharting's own market price for the box: US$165.13, on roughly 29 sales a day by their count. At the 7 August exchange rate of about 70 US cents per Australian dollar (a stated assumption from public rate trackers, not a bank quote), that is roughly A$235, with the 7 to 8 August cluster at about A$213 to A$270, before shipping to Australia. One footnote worth a smile: one of the two outlier sales, at US$247.03, was an Australia-titled presale listing.

3. BP02 "Legends Awaken": preorder state, 12 weeks out

Same sweep, same rules. BP02 releases 30 October 2026.

Gamerholic has no row in this table or the deck table below: our 8 August sweep did not capture those listings there, and a row only appears where we read the data ourselves.

The read: every BP02 box preorder we found at the stores above was unavailable at check time, twelve weeks before release, at stickers from $102 to $150. Preorder demand is running ahead of allocation at every store we checked.

4. Trial decks: the shelf, and our own numbers

Deck rows come from the same 8 August sweep (2:30 to 3:35 pm AEST window), read from each store's own product or search data.

Our $39.95 sits at the top end of that sticker range, above every sticker except GB Toys' $40.00, and we would rather point that out ourselves than have you discover it. Every deck at every store above, ours included, was sold out or unbuyable when we checked.

Our own numbers, stated plainly. We said this report would hold our shelf to the same standard as everyone else's, so here is ours: small numbers, stated as small numbers.

• We listed the two Dawn of Palpagos trial decks and a two-deck pair on 3 August.
• The first order arrived within about twelve hours of the shelf going live, before we had announced it anywhere: one two-deck pair at our launch pair price of $74.95.
• A second order on 5 August took a TD01 and a TD02 single at $39.95 each.
• Every Palworld deck listing on our shelf has shown sold out since 6 August.
• That is two orders. We publish the number because we said we would, not because two orders prove anything.
• Since then we have repriced the pair from $74.95 to $79.90, exactly the price of two single decks. With stock this short we no longer discount the pair, and we would rather say that here than have you spot it in a cached page.
• Our restock is paid and allocated and awaiting dispatch. We do not publish incoming quantities until the carton is physically counted, and nothing goes live on our shelf before its inventory is verified. (Update, 11 August: dispatched, on its way to us.)
• We also have an order in for BP01 and BP02 booster boxes. It is not yet confirmed by our distributor, so nothing is listed and nothing is promised. If boxes go live, they will go live against counted, verified stock, with their own dated market receipt. (Update, 11 August: the BP02 half of that order is now confirmed and paid, and our BP02 preorder page is open; BP01 remains unconfirmed.) (Update, 22 August: our first BP01 allocation is now confirmed and paid as well; boxes list only after the carton is counted.)

5. First print, and the reprint watch

Bushiroad's official BP01 product page documents a printing error on the first print run: the word "Palworld" is misspelled on the packs and the box, and Bushiroad states it will be corrected in future reprints. That makes the misspelling the closest thing this game has to an official first-edition marker, and it comes from the manufacturer, not from sellers' marketing.

The market has noticed. In our 8 August eBay sweep, nearly every English box listing traded on first-print or error language in its title, and even empty first-print boxes were listed at A$14 to A$28.

The standing line: no reprint of BP01 has been announced as of 8 August 2026. We checked Bushiroad's official product page. Bushiroad's 7 August English-language announcements (below) covered the release calendar and said nothing about a BP01 reprint. When that changes, the Index will say so, dated.

How this report is made

What we checked: the seven Australian online TCG stores we have verified carry Palworld TCG (named in the tables above), eBay Australia live listings, PriceCharting's completed-sales records, and Bushiroad's official pages. Coverage means those named sources, not all of Australia.

When: Saturday 8 August 2026, roughly 2:30 to 3:35 pm AEST. Every claim carries the timestamp of its own check. There is no standing schedule behind this page, only dated checks, shown per row.

How: where a store runs on a platform that publishes public product data, we read the store's own feed; otherwise we loaded the page in a browser, and each row says which. Prices are quoted exactly as displayed, GST inclusive, excluding shipping. We report other stores' prices; we do not editorialise them.

Sorting: alphabetical. When stock states differ, in-stock rows sit above sold-out rows, then alphabetical within each group. No badges, no rankings, no "best deal" calls, ever.

What this edition does not contain, and why: eBay AU sold prices (login-gated on our check date; we publish nothing we could not verify), singles prices (not yet tracked), and department-store rows (not verified to range the product).
